On cool Canadian nights, it helps hold the day's warmth, so the water stays comfortable longer in June and September and you spend less on chemicals and cleaning.
This is not a safety cover: always remove it completely before swimming, and never let anyone walk or sit on it. At the end of the season, clean and dry it before storing it with your pool for the winter.
